Over 11% Increase in New Retail Jobs in August
Snagajob reported retail job ads placed in August 2012 on their Career Website saw a nationwide increase of 11% over July 2012. The trend is continuing upwards with more total job ads being placed nationwide each month progressively. Retailers have already begun to ramp up hiring for the holiday season.
Employers added almost 15,000 jobs in August for a total of 130,247 job opportunities. Only 2 states saw a decrease in new jobs - Wyoming and Hawaii.
